Meet Dr. Cindy

Hello! I am Cindy Wilson, and I am the founder of Family Life Solutions. I started this ministry because I am passionate about coming alongside families and churches to build homes full of God's grace, truth, and hope. For the past 25+ years, I have worked in Children and Family ministries in churches, as well as in academia as an instructor and researcher in the field of Human Development & Family Science. My education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Family & Child Sciences and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Family Relations, all from Florida State University. I am a Certified Family Life Educator, a Connected Families-Certified Parent Coach, and have a Professional Certification in Trauma and Resilience. But some of my most impactful education has come as "on-the-job training" as a wife, mother, former foster parent, and grandmother to a child who joined our family through foster care and adoption. My husband and I have been married for over 30 years and have 3 grown children, 1 son-in-law, 1 grandson, and a little farm full of dogs, cats, goats, and chickens.
